Pell Grant Disbursement Dates 2024 Georgia. Federal pell grants are disbursed in 3 scheduled disbursements throughout the semester, see disbursement schedule below. Disbursement is when the financial aid office actually moves your awarded funds over from an authorized status to a paid status on banner/charger portal.
Financial aid will disburse at the beginning of each semester after the late registration (drop/add) period, on the financial aid freeze (census) date. Freeze date is when the financial aid office will no longer adjust pell grant and/or cal grant for added/withdrawn units.
